唐草図鑑　2010

エリザベス二世の戴冠式のドレスの文様（Leek)を見ていたのだが、「英米文学植物民族誌」によれば、fleur de lisは、「エジプトでもスフインクスの髪飾りに完全な形で彫刻されているという」とある。これはいままで気がついたことがなく、？？っと、謎がなぞを呼び(？？)少し見てみます。
ちなみにLilyの項に「古くは美しい花なら何でも漠然とlilyと呼んだらしい」とある。これは確かに。
